Mexico Trip 9/08

The BCC Mexico mission trip was a wonderful time of songs, sharing our testimonies, sharing the gospel and sharing Gods love by ministering to the people we met in Aldama Mexico.

We saw 175 people come to the Lord at the schools and villages that we visited. Many thanks to all who provided supplies and prayers for the team. You were part of the Lords work!

I learned the difference between my wants and my needs on this trip:
I wanted to stay
I needed to go
If I needed to go, then I wanted to see what others were doing, but I really needed to do what others would be seeing
I wanted to be comfortable and help from afar
I needed to be stretched and speak about Jesus, up-close and personal
I wanted, I thought, to help because I had so much to offer
I needed to be humbled before God would be able to use me at all
I wanted to know what was happening in the rest of the world
I needed only to know what God was doing in my part of the world at that time
I wanted to make a difference for the people to see
I needed to know, the biggest difference would be made in me. DMA
