Hello Everyone-

We are having a great time here in Haiti! We were able to pass out bibles, clothes, shoes and food today in a village in the mountains. Tomorrow we will be painting, fixing warehouse doors, moving rocks to fix the road.

SCRIP (What is it & how it works)

Scrip is a simple way to support missionaries through your everyday shopping by using gift cards. How scrip works is - Global Outreach (GO) purchases the gift cards at a discount and then they are sold to you for the face value (ie - GO purchases a $25 Applebee's gift card at an 8% discount and then you purchase the $25 card for $25, thus, GO makes the 8%).

You can purchase these gift cards at the scrip counter (located at the Welcome Center) or you can go online at www.shopwithscrip.com using 8BABCCD91228 to enroll and place your order. We also belong to the Kroger and Meijer Rewards programs. When you purchase a Kroger gift card from GO for $5 you keep this card and put money on it at the check-out or customer service before your groceries are scanned and then you use your gift card to pay. GO receives a check monthly for 5% of everyone's spending. For the Meijer program, all you need is a Meijer 1 keytag. You can sign up to get one at www.Meijer.com/rewards using 728056 for BCC's organization code or pick up a pamphlet at the scrip counter, fill it out and send it in. Then when you shop just give them your keytag and pay with cash (green cash) or your debit card with pin #. Then once a month GO will receive a check for everyone's spending.
